There were many visitors who enjoyed a nice sunny day out with the family and alongside the food and produce show, were stalls sharing both goods for sale, crafts and local interests .
Our local registered Farrier James Carr demonstrated how to make horseshoes, The Barefoot Welder (who previously exhibited at Grand Designs) joined us to demonstrate his welding skills.
There were also local artists exhibiting jewellery, patchwork, bespoke cat baskets, papercraft and artwork. A working steam engine, a vintage lorry, and a local author Tim Parsons, who wrote ‘Paramedic Chris’.
Bredhurst Woodland Action Group were in attendance and explained how lucky Bredhurst are having an ancient woodland on the doorstep and how residents could get involved.
Maidstone Borough Council, Countrystyle and Demelza were pleased to speak to guests and share information on recycling from your kerbside collection to furniture recycling.
Ray’s ice cream, JW Farms and the Women’s Institute were on hand for refreshments and Pickwick Motors who were the shows business partner.
